Another fine example of light polarization.
Sunlight is non-polarized (uni-directional) as it travels thru Space. It becomes polarized as it passes thru the Earth's atmosphere. Maximum polarization occurs 90° from the light source (Sun). Note that the sky becomes lighter as it approaches the anti-solar point. You can observe this phenomenon yourself on any clear day.
Of course that white spot in the upper left is the Moon.
I think this will be my Valentine's Day card.
