The Southern Cross transits my Meridian.
Crux and Corvus (the Crow) are at the same Right Ascension so they culminate together.
The trapezoidal shape of Corvus is easy to locate, only 15 degrees SW of Spica.
So when you see Corvus cross your meridian, take comfort in knowing that the Southern Cross is only 33 degrees below it!
