I recognize that this would be low quality for a decent telescope, but I took the photo with a standard camera lens, a $6k Nikon f4 200-400 zoom that is the best long lens that I have. And using manual stacking for lack of a motorized equatorial mount.
Nikon Z8 (46mp) with 2x extender on f4 200-400 mm lens at 400 mm
12 images manually aligned, & each of the 12 is represented in equal percentage in a stack. Image size of each of the 12 was increased 10x to get more pixels to smooth the image. (I'd love to learn of some software to do all this more gracefully.)
