Lunar Mystery

I stood in my driveway watching the shifting shadow and colors on the moon through scope and binoculars for about half an hour. The moon was obscured at greatest eclipse by clouds, but right before and after I enjoyed the spooky sight of wispy gray clouds racing across its face and the glowing sliver of light at the moon's edge emerging then disappearing behind clouds in the bimulous sky.
