Spider Wins

As I was walking my dogs on public land, I happened by an Oxeye Daisy. There seemed to be a fly struggling on the flower. At first, I thought its leg was stuck on a petal. Moving the flower, I suddenly realized there was a Golden Rod Crab Spider gripping the fly as it struggled. She had amazing camouflage and grip! She would not let go. On my way back, I investigated to find out who won. They were gone, but a bee was enjoying the flower. I glanced under its petals, and there they were. The spider had won and was enjoying her meal.
