This shot captures two distinct types of light scattering. The deep orange sky is caused by Rayleigh scattering, where the long atmospheric path at sunset filters out shorter blue wavelengths. In contrast, the bright, golden glare surrounding the sun is Mie scattering, caused by larger urban aerosols and dust particles that scatter light more directly toward the observer.☀️🌆
