Plato Crater

On the evening of December 28, 2025, I also decided to film the crater Plato, which is located on the northeastern edge of Mare Imbrium, in the northern hemisphere of the Moon.
The crater is about 100 km in diameter and has a floor covered by solidified basaltic lava. Its edge is jagged and this can be seen from the beautiful shadows cast inside. The surrounding area is also rich in detail with shadows cast on the dark surface of the Mare Imbrium.
