Triangulum is the second closest galaxy to our own and located near the 1st closest, Andromeda, in the night sky. In this case I used my ASI585MC so I have a real close-up the Galaxy. And using the C1 data I was able to show the nebulosity within the galaxy better. As always it is so much fun to see the final result!
ASI585MC Pro g200, AskarV@600f7.5, 79 10min pics (13.17 hours) exposure, +darks/biases/flats, also used AskarC1 filter, 27 10min pics
AM5/ASIair+, EAF, Askar OAG with ASI174mini for guiding
PixInsight 100%.
This was one of my more challenging developments of a pic. Besides getting regular UVIR data, I also collected data using my Askar C1 (HaSIII) filter and used that data to enhance the red nebula data for the constellation. I used ImageBlend within PI to combine the data from the C1 filter info with the other data. I am starting to get the hang of it. I am glad because showing the red shows the viewer how much nebulosity exists in a galaxy.
