Super Moon Over Pulicat Lighthouse β When Patience Meets Precision πβ¨

The November Super Moon bathed the night sky in radiant light, appearing larger and brighter as it reached its closest point to Earth. I traveled to Pulicat with a clear vision β to frame the luminous Moon above the iconic Pulicat Lighthouse. This time, I opted for a vertical composition, including the surrounding environment to convey the essence of Pulicat. After waiting patiently for the perfect alignment, the scene unfolded just as I had imagined β a moment well worth the wait.
It was also my first time photographing with the Nikon ZR, a camera primarily designed for video. I was curious to test its still photography capabilities, especially with its electronic-only shutter and impressive low-light performance β and the Super Moon provided the ideal opportunity.
Paired with the NIKKOR Z 180β600mm lens, I captured both the intricate lunar details and the striking silhouette of the lighthouse β a perfect harmony between technology and natureβs poetry. The experience was a gentle reminder of how magical our skies can be when patience meets precision. πβ¨
