North American Nebula

How cool is this for those of us in North America! Hail the North American Nebula or NGC 7000, a vast emission nebula in the Cygnus Constellation, 1700 light years from Earth!

Learning to image in deep space has been one of the most gratifying, satisfying, mind-blowing things I have done. It's only been 4 months since I started this journey and I can't wait to see where it takes me.
