Captured from the skies of Punjab, Pakistan, this image shows the vibrant North America (NGC 7000) and Pelican (IC 5070) nebulae in the constellation Cygnus. August is one of the best times to photograph this region, as it rises high in the northern summer sky. Despite their distance and complexity, these nebulae are still possible to capture with modest gear this image was taken using basic equipment and careful stacking. It’s a reminder that even with limited tools, patience and passion can reveal the beauty of deep space.
