From 2,500 light-years away, this celestial coastline resembles North America—but with way more hydrogen gas and zero tourists. I combined over 13 hours of broadband exposures using two different filters to highlight both the subtle dust and glowing red emission regions. Captured with my trusty William Optics GT71 and ASI294MC Pro, the detail in the “Gulf of Mexico” and “Florida” regions really came to life.
