Insect Plays with Water

I spotted this little critter on some white daisy-like flowers on my patio, so set up my camera and tripod near him and started shooting. I noticed a water droplet on his mouth, so focused on that and watched as it shrank in size then grew again, whilst he seemed to play a game with it, probably out of boredom with the lack of sunshine. He stayed there, unmoving, for the full five minutes it took me to grab all the photos I wanted and was still there when I left.
From a pixel count, the lens focal length and lens distance of 355 mm from the insect, it measures approximately 5 mm long.
