The three peaks of Theophilus

On 03/05/2025 08:30 pm by Béci Szucsányi | Website | Ózd, Hungary

The three peaks of the Theophilus crater rise approximately 2 km in height. I keep returning to this crater, but until now, I haven't been able to capture it in such detail, especially the grooves and folds on the mountain slopes. The shadow of the crater rim is also uneven as it extends toward the center. The terraced crater wall on the southwestern side is particularly striking. I believe this is the highest resolution I've achieved so far, compared to my previous captures.
