Mercury and Venus in conjunction!
On 03/08/2025 06:58 pm by Adeel Shafiq | Website | Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
The two innermost planets of our solar system, planets Mercury and Venus are currently in conjunction from our perspective and appear close to each other soon after sunset towards the western horizon. Tonight planet Mercury was at its greatest eastern elongation (farthest from the Sun) and will continue to turn back towards the horizon. Venus has already started its journey back towards the horizon and soon will disappear from the evening skies only to return to morning skies in the first week of April. On 12th march both mercury and Venus will appear closest to each other so don't miss the chance.
