An American Bald Eagle sunning himself atop a tall utility pole. He looks quite fierce. Seeing the dark streaks on his head and tail feathers one can tell that he is not quite an adult yet, that is he hasn't attained yet the definitive plumage (pure white head and tail feathers) of an adult.
