Mars and the Full Moon

I have been taking snapshot photos of the moon each night since Jan. 1 and so I was waiting on Monday the 13th for the full moon to rise from behind the nearby hill. I took a shot of the moon's full face from a higher vantage point, then walked downhill a few minutes later to see how it looked framed by a pine tree on the hilltop. Only later did I realize that this second shot also appears to capture Mars coming out from behind the moon -- just a little red bead on top (near Mare Crisium), which had not been there in my prior shot. I had heard this was to happen, but I got lucky in this photo. The separation between them grew quickly through the evening.
