Saturn approaching opposition

Saturn ... The Ringed Planet.
I took this image from the Heavenly Backyard Garden early Thursday morning (Aug 29) using the large Celestron EdgeHD 11" telescope. Currently, Saturn is about 808 million miles from Earth. Notice how the rings are nearly edge-on.
