cluster of sunspots
On 08/25/2024 09:49 am by Patricio Leon| Santiago, Chile
the big cores of AR3792 and 3799 are a pair of dark eyes in the face of the sun, much more striking than the image sugests as seen without optical aid; the northern hemisphere is barren and most of the eastern too, so pretty much all of the sunspots are clustered in the south western quadrant; newcomers are rotating the limb at 10 and 8 o'clock and should be visible by tomorrow (monday)
