Along the Ala Kahakai Trail from Pebbles Beach to Puoa Point, there are a series of sea arches created when the lava entered the ocean in the 1950s. Past its fiery and explosive contact of hot lava and sea water, creates these interesting geological forms along the sea cliffs. Looking back from Puoa Point we can see a cinder cone by the ocean in the background with the Kaholo Pali on the right. Happy World Oceans Day!
