A random firefly lit up this shot of the core of the Milky Way over Gibson Lake (46.2 degrees north) early on June 21. Some sky glow was evident, and some loss of clarity near the horizon due to wildfire smoke.
Nikon D750, Sigma 14-24mm lens @ 14 mm, f2.8 ISO 6400, 13 second exposure. Single exposure.
