Giminids Meteor Shower 2020 as seen from Goa, India
As expected, a power-packed, eye-dazzling performance of the years most famous Meteor shower as seen from Goa, India. In the absence of the Moon, streaks from the pieces of Rock-Comet Phaethon 3200 were looking bright and even fainter meteor could be easily traceable.
A lifetime memorable event was witnessed from one of the darkest sites here. Despite hazy horizons, we recorded count of approx 529 shooting stars with 5hrs of non-stop observation between 22:30 to 3:30hrs.
