A section of the waning gibbous moon taken on 5 Sep 2020 at night. This photo was taken from a Nikon camera without the use of any additional equipment. Using the Collins Spacewatching book as reference, i had identified and mark some of the moon mare and craters using my smartphone inbuilt app upon transferring the image from the camera to the phone. It is truly amazing that such fine details could be captured from a tiny camera to reach the moon some 400,000 km away from us. Nothing excites me then to 'travel' to the moon from my camera!
