Waning Moon and Mars Rising.
The Waning Gibbous Moon and Mars were photographed rising above a hill in Cecil Kop Nature Reserve half-an-hour before midnight. Mars is already bright and very red and it’s due to get brighter in the coming months as it approaches opposition to the Sun.
