Woke up at about 3:15AM, I easily saw the comet at the nothern sky near the horizon and went on outside, first to just gaze at it for a few minutes and then went on to take a picture of it with my smartphone. It's amazing what phones can do, I used Google Camera with the Astrophotography mode, which can be installed on almost any Android phone, if you just Google it. The exposure time was about 4 minutes and 10 seconds.
