Full Moon Rising at Sunset.
On Friday 5th June the Full Moon was observed rising above Cecil Kop Nature Reserve in the direction of Mozambique just after the Sun had disappeared below the opposite horizon. As the Moon appeared it was in a rapidly rising pink Belt of Venus which gave way to a dark band of Earth Shadow through which it climbed while increasing in brightness and changing color from pale orange to bright yellow.
