Strawberry Moon - The full moon in June is generally termed as a Strawberry moon. As it is around the time for strawberry season in Michigan. While the moon does not really look like a strawberry the name seems to have stuck due to the time of the year when strawberries ripen. Its a joy for some to eat strawberries under the full moon in June. It is also called as the rose moon in some places.
