Near Solstice Sunset in Thin Cloud
On Friday 20th the near Solstice Sun was observed setting behind thin veils of cloud above the horizon. These dimmed the light from the Sun sufficiently for delicate bands to be visible in front as it disappeared from view behind Hospital Hill. Beautiful!
