Just after sunset, the sky was scattered with grey clouds. But I could the waxing moon showing itself now and then among the clouds.
Managed to get this photo of the moon at around 9.5% illumination.
In Islamic tradition, this is the last or twelfth moon of the Islamic calendar, so marking the twelfth month of calendar.
It also heralds the coming of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
