The were only 3 nights of clear sky while I was travelling for 2 weeks in northern India, on two of those nights shooting time was limited due to the full moon rising. On my last night I was at a site sufficiently dark for Milkyway and the moon didn't rise until late into the night. I manage to make this shot of the core of our galaxy before flying back to Delhi (where there's no sky to speak of) the next day.
