I spent a lot of time trying to find a way to capture Jupiter and its three visible moons, trying all kinds of settings. Despite how tiny Jupiter is, it was hard to get a setting that didn't bleach it out. I finally settled on a high ISO with a short duration was the best combination.
Nikon D750 with Sigma 150-500 zoom lens at 500mm, F22, ISO 4000 for 1/20th sec
Cropped down to the tiny image of Jupiter and its moons and increased mid-tone brightness to make the moons for visible.
