The Last Quarter Moon, being 90° from the Sun, sets at Noon. The Ecliptic is perpendicular to the Terminator line. You can see how steep the Ecliptic is to the horizon at my latitude. That's why twilights are so short here. There will be a quiz next Wednesday.
