Spouting Horn
On 11/06/2026 10:40 am by Cecille Kennedy | Depoe Bay, Oregon
Gusty winds, big waves slamming into the rocks and the Spouting Horn spraying high up along the downtown basalt shoreline. The Spouting Horn is a natural marine blow hole. Ocean waves crash into underwater sea caves and rock fissures, compressing air and water and forcing geyser-like jets of seawater up through a narrow opening in the rocks.
