There are two very small sunspots on the solar disk this morning. Only one was slightly visible to me though a 5" inch refractor.
Spaceweather.com reports: Solar activity is low. The face of the sun is almost blank (only two tiny sunspots), and no CMEs are heading for Earth. The odds of a geomagnetic storm in the next 48 to 72 hours is very low.
Tiny sunspots 4561 and 4562 rescued the sun from a spotless day. However, it may be a flare less day. These sunspots pose no threat for strong explosions.
