Hunter's Moon rises over the Beja Castle Tower

Hunter's Moon rises over the Beja Castle Tower.
An image captured through rigorous planning and a focal length of 900mm.
Perfectly framed by the rising Full Moon, the tower of the Beja Castle stands out at the center of the alignment from a distance of 22 km. At nearly 40 meters tall, it is the highest medieval military structure in the Iberian Peninsula.
At the top of the image, we can see a fascinating atmospheric phenomenon known as the Belt of Venus: a pinkish band caused by the scattering of sunlight as we enter the civil twilight, sitting just above the dark blue band that defines Earth’s own shadow projected into the sky.
The particularly hot day causes atmospheric turbulence due to the heat built up in the ground, reducing the image sharpness.
