Lightning by Leuty

This was taken during a tremendous thunderstorm in Toronto the night of October 7.
I took this photo sitting on a bench just outside the historic Leuty lifeguard station (built in the 1920s), an iconic building for our neighbourhood of the Beaches. Just as I got to the Beach, a leg of my tripod broke. I took this photo leaning back on a bench opposite the lifeguard house, hand-supporting the remaining two legs of my tripod, and getting utterly wet in the process. But it was well worth it to be rewarded with this shot.

24mm, f/9 ISO 200, 15s exposure. I took this in interval shooting mode and was lucky to get this in a shot.
