Ruby-throated Hummingbird Resting on a Branch

I've not spotted any hummingbirds the last several days and, though I will leave the feeders out a few more weeks for any stragglers making pit stops on their southward journey, safe to say they are on their merry way. I was lucky enough to capture one of my regulars sitting on a branch in the yard last week, no doubt resting up for the long migration ahead! I will miss these beauties and look forward to their return next Spring!
