Moon Jupiter Conjunction
On 10/06/2026 04:42 am by Mandy Daniels | Website | Derbyshire, UK
A close conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter. To capture all four of the Galilean moons required a separate, much greater exposure to avoid over exposing the Moon and Jupiter. The two images were then combined in GIMP. The inset shows Jupiter's moons at a larger scale. From bottom left to top right, the objects are: Ganymede, Jupiter, Callisto, Io, Europa.
