Black Vulture

Checking my usual spots for Eagles, Hawks, Osprey, and whatever my be around the area, I spotted this Black Vulture on top a dead tree preening itself. I've never seen one before and thought only Turkey Vultures and Buzzards scavenged the area. I read Black Vultures are more predatory than scavenger and they will attack and kill small sheep and baby calves. They are expanding their territory northward in Indiana. It has the look of some kind of evil thing out of a horror movie.
