Milky Way 🤝 Aurora Borealis

I recently traveled to the Northwest Territories for a long-awaited and much-anticipated Northern Lights trip. Yellowknife completely stole my heart. The aurora borealis (of course!), the stunning landscapes and the incredible community were all extraordinary. On this particular night, we spent several hours aurora chasing, battling clouds and generally quiet space weather conditions. Around 1am MT, Lady Aurora finally made her appearance. While the sky exploded in another direction, I took a few minutes to appreciate and capture this treasured shot of our brilliant Milky Way complemented by a soft, delicate aurora glow. It was an incredibly special moment in an incredibly special place, and I cannot wait to return!
