All of the Spots Seen this Morning are Stable

There are eight numbered sunspot groups on the solar disk today. Normally, this many sunspots would pose a threat for solar flares. In this case, however, all of the spots are stable and the sun's X-ray output is flatlining. A quiet weekend is in the offing.
