Coral Slime Mold
On 09/10/2026 08:41 am by Sheryl R Garrison | Website | Southern Alberta, Florida
I've been hunting for slime molds and came across some white flecks on a log that, on closer inspection, turned out to be Coral Slime mold. For scale, the structures were about 3mm tall. Slime molds are not plants, animals, or fungi—they're classified in the catch-all kingdom Protista.
