International Observe the Moon Night this September from SINGAPORE

To celebrate the annual International Observe the Moon Night, I went down this evening to my neighborhood park hoping for a clear shot of the bright waxing moon. which was about 57% illuminated. Instead, I got heavy, passing clouds! I decided to wait it out for a while and I am so glad I did. When the clouds finally parted, the leftover mist acted like a soft glow filter. It gave the moon a really moody, beautiful look rather than just a plain black background.It taught me that you don't always need a perfectly clear night sky to get a magical view of the moon!
