One of the most beautiful emission nebulae in the constellation Perseus, known for its distinctive shape resembling the map of the state of California. 🔭
The nebula is located approximately 1,000–1,500 light-years away and spans about 2.5 degrees across the sky, several times the apparent diameter of the Moon.
