Aircraft Transit Across the Sun

While observing the daylight occultation of Venus by the moon from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 14 September 2026, an aircraft crossed the solar disk.

The image captured the aircraft in silhouette, followed by its condensation trail. Several small sunspots are also visible on the Sun. The transit lasted only a fraction of a second and was photographed using a proper solar filter.
