Ochre Crescent Setting Moon

The waxing crescent moon turned ochre near moonset.
The earth's atmosphere have scattered the short lightwaves of blue and violet (Rayleigh scattering) while the longer lightwaves like red, orange and yellow remain. Tonight the ochre gold crescent looks appealing in person.
