Venus Reappearing from Behind the Crescent Moon

On September 14, 2026, I photographed the reappearance of Venus from behind the crescent Moon during a lunar occultation, from Ardabil, Iran.

The image captures the tiny crescent of Venus emerging from behind the much larger crescent Moon in broad daylight, showing the crescent phases of both worlds in the same frame.
