Sunset at Woodlands, Singapore

Captured the striking sunset from the Northwest of Singapore on September 12, 2026, looking in the direction of 273.89° West. Due to prevailing regional haze conditions, the dense layer of airborne smoke particles acted as a natural neutral-density filter, scattering shorter wavelengths of light and dimming the intense glare enough to photograph the sun safely as a sharp, deep orange disc without an artificial solar filter. At the time of the photo, the sun was roughly 150,575,000 kilometers away from Earth as we approach the upcoming September equinox.
