Taken from my home in the hills inland from Arecibo, Puerto Rico just after midnight on 8/28/2026, this photo records the eclipse through a very thin cirrus cloud, which created diffraction rings around the illuminated part of the moon.

Canon EOS R8 with Canon 100-400 f/5.6-8.0 at 400mm and f/8.0, 1/4 s exposure at 3200 ISO.
