Moonset during a partial lunar eclipse from Urla Iskele, Türkiye

The sky was perfectly transparent, but turbulent, all the way to moonset behind the trees atop a distant hill (Alt. 3 deg 55') when the eclipse was at 56% (Stellarium). My impression was that even the penumbra was relatively quite dark. Although we did not experience the recent solar eclipse, it was a privilege to watch this lunar eclipse at the site of ancient Klazomenai, the birthplace of Anaxagoras, who first fully understood the science of both solar and lunar eclipses (https://plato stanford edu/entries/anaxagoras/)
